Technically ready. The Ministry of Justice of Georgia to switch to blockchain
The Georgian Ministry of Justice is technically ready to adopt blockchain for document flow. It was stated by Thea Tsulukiani, the Head of the Ministry.
According to her, first of all, the Ministry will use blockchain technology for the documents relating to all kinds of transactions, as well as information about the real estate.
The process of putting the information into the blockchain system will begin as early as next year, the minister added.
Social and govtech blockchain-based projects are developed in other countries as well. China is planning to apply blockchain for paying benefits to socially vulnerable groups of people. In such a way the Chinese authorities want to eliminate intermediaries in the payment process and make the reports transparent.
